Visas Tourist Visa is sufficient for practice with us. Yoga-Student Visa is NOT REQUIRED for practice in Goa. Thank you for not using our names on your Visa application. An Indian Visa is required from your departure country before you board the plane. 6-month Tourist Visas are available from your local Indian consulate or embassy. Your Visa will start from the date it is issued, not from the date of your arrival in India.
Getting to Goa Goa is on the Southwest coast of India. The local airport is Goa-Dabolim, which serves International charter flights from some European countries, as well as domestic airlines from gateway cities in India like New Delhi, Bangalore and Mumbai (Bombay), among others. Mumbai is the closest airport to Goa, a 1-hour flight. It's possible to take trains or buses to Goa from within India. There is an overnight train to Goa from Mumbai. Contact a travel agent or visit the nearest train station for more information. We do not have information regarding schedules or prices.
From the Airport You can hire a taxi at the Goa-Dabolim Airport for 800 Rupees, one way. You can change money at the airport on arrival. Pay the driver upon arriving at your destination.

International Driver’s License Bring an International Driver's License with you. Fines are issued to tourists who drive without one.
Bring Your Mat Bring your own Yoga mat. We a few mats available for students to borrow while practicing in the shala.
